Call for Applications: Pro Oriente Emerging Scholars (PO-ES) 2026/27
In support of ecumenical dialogue at all levels, Pro Oriente is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative, “Pro Oriente – Emerging Scholars” (PO-ES).
This programme invites applications from up to fifteen early-career scholars in theology and related disciplines. We particularly encourage applications from scholars in the early stages of their academic careers (age limit of 40, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis) who are currently engaged in a research project at Master’s, doctoral or habilitation level.
Further information can be found in the Call for Applications and on the Pro Oriente website: https://www.pro-oriente.at/initiativen/pro-oriente-emerging-scholars-po-es (external link, opens in a new window). The deadline for applications is 19 October 2026.
