Event: Visiting Christmas Markets in Munich
🎄 Day Trip to Munich's Christmas Markets! 🎄
Bavaria's state capital and Germany's third largest city, Munich is home to a variety of Christmas markets during winter time.
To make this trip as affordable as possible, we are organizing a group travel arrangement to reduce the cost of train tickets. Here's how it works:
- Meeting point: Regensburg train station
- Meeting time: 11:30 on the day of the trip
- We will purchase group tickets together, so everyone benefits from a lower total travel price.
Once we arrive, you will have approximately six hours to explore the city at your own pace. Wander through the historic old town, sample festive treats like Glühwein and roasted almonds and enjoy the atmosphere of Munich's Christmas markets.
Members of our International Office will be touring the various markets throughout the day, especially the spectacular Tollwood Winter Festival at Theresienwiese, and you are free to join them or explore on your own.
After a wonderful day of exploration, we will reconvene at Munich Central Station at 19:30 to catch our train back to Regensburg together.
