'Information in Flux'

Information in Flux: Probabilities, Beliefs and their Dynamics

This topic has long been a research focus of the Chair of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Regensburg. Here we provide formal models of the representation of information in the minds of agents, either in a categorical manner (as plain beliefs) or admitting degrees (probabilities and plausibilities). The field is a branch of philosophical logic and formal epistemology, but closely related research is also being conducted in Artificial Intelligence/Knowledge Representation within Computer Science.
