At the University of Regensburg, the protection of information is of great importance because its misuse can lead to major material and immaterial damage.
For this reason, the University of Regensburg is introducing an information securitymanagement system(ISMS) across the entire campus. The procedures and rules set out in this ISMS help to control, monitor, maintain and improve information security. The ISMS is implemented at the University of Regensburg in accordance with the CISIS12 standard (short for "Information Security Management System in 12 Steps").
Our working group consists of the data protection team and the IT security manager, who is supported by her colleagues from the Campus IT. We draw up concepts, guidelines and regulations in cooperation with the Campus IT and provide recommendations for action on the Internet.
