They are open to your concerns and will combine these with their own experiences to help shape the WIN program. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about candidacy.
Cordial invitation to all early career researchers at UR
Nominate your representative on the WIN committees for the winter semester 2026-27 and the summer semester 2027. One person is designated for each of the following three groups :
- Doctoral researchers who are members of structured doctoral programmes,
- Doctoral researchers who are not members of structured programmes,
- Academics who have completed their doctorate and are continuing their qualification at the UR, for example as postdocs, researchers working on their habilitation, heads of junior research groups and people in tenure-track professorships.

Candidacy
Are you considering whether a candidacy is right for you? - Wonderful, thank you very much for your interest!
Here’s what you should expect:
- Time commitment: Expect one to two one-hour meetings per semester.
More is not required, but is possible depending on your interests (see “Opportunities”). - Responsibilities: Your main responsibility is to represent your group on the Advisory Board (all three members of the delegation) and on the Steering Committee (the postdoc and doctoral student representatives). You should be available to your group for their concerns and interested in networking with other representatives of your group across campus.
- Opportunities to get involved: Depending on your interests and availability, you can contribute to shaping the WIN program in collaboration with the WIN team and help develop new support formats for early career researchers at the UR.
- Duration: You should be available for the entire term of office, i.e., the winter semester 2026–27 and the summer semester 2027.

Nominating

Would you like to nominate someone as a candidate?
Send us an e-mail (opens your email program) with the person's name, faculty and group.
We will ask all nominees for their consent to stand for candidacy and ask them to introduce themselves on a PowerPoint slide (opens in a new window). The slide will be available for the respective group on GRIPS during the voting period. We will provide the nominees with a suggestion for the design of their slides.
After the voting ends, all your data will be deleted.
Voting
You will find all the important information for voting in GRIPS - it takes about 3-5 minutes:
- You select the group in which you want to vote and register in the corresponding GRIPS course
(doctoral researchers in programmes, doctoral researchers not in programmes, postdocs) - You inform yourself about the candidates of your group using the slides provided in your course.
- You use the voting form (anomymous feedback) in GRIPS to cast your vote.
