Target Group: Doctoral Candidates and Early PostDocs | no or little experience in applying for grants

Content and aim

Guidance to be able to navigate the complexity of grant writing with confidence:

  • Designing an eligible project
  • Fulfilling the evaluation criteria
  • Manageing the writing process
  • Dealing with low success rates 

Learning outcomes

  • Identify funding opportunities for differenz research settings
  • Navigate the evaluation process
  • Design fundable research projects
  • Structure and schedule the writing process
  • Employ effective language and style
  • Establish a grant track record

   

You will receive pre-workshop activities to be completed individually at your own pace before the start of the workshop to prepare (allocate up to 3 hours in total).

There is also the option to have an individual consultating session with the trainer within the following days (not mandatory, up to 45 minutes per participant).
