Studied applied linguistics at the University of Vienna.

Numerous further and advanced training courses, including the university course "Linguistics in German Didactics" at the Vorarlberg University of Teacher Education.

Work in language teaching:

1992-1997, 2000-2003, 2009-2013 and 2023-2024 teaching activities in German as a second language and (modern) Greek in adult education (at various adult education centres in Vienna and Korneuburg, Lower Austria), most recently DaZ for academic staff at the University of Vienna's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (2023-2024);

2003-2008 Teaching German as a foreign language as a lecturer of the Austrian Co-operation at the University of Pécs (Hungary).

2003-2008 as a lecturer of the Austrian Co-operation at the University of Pécs (Hungary);

2012-2013 as a lecturer for German as a second language at the Vienna University of Teacher Education;

2012-2018 as a contract university lecturer for linguistics, German as a second language and multilingualism at the University of Teacher Education Burgenland;

2019-2022 (with interruptions) as a lecturer for GFL/German as a second language at the University of Vienna;

2020-2025 as a lecturer for German language and literature at the University of Graz;

since 2024 lecturer for special tasks at the professorships for German as a second language and German as a foreign language at the University of Regensburg.

In addition, block seminars as a guest lecturer or lecturer at the University of Pécs (2018-2022), at Saarland University (2019), at the University of Education of the Diocese of Linz (2021-2023) and at the University of Education Freiburg (2023-2024).
