How can I transfer credits from other universities?

How can I transfer credit points from other universities?

If you would like to transfer credit points from another university to a program at the German Department, you need to fill out the appropriate form of the examinations office (form for B.A./M.A.; form for teaching degrees).

Please forward the completed form to the following members of staff for recognition:

Modern German literature: Prof. Dr. Ernst Rohmer or Dr. Christian Steltz
Medieval German literatur: Dr. Sonja Emmerling
German Linguistics: Dr. Andreas Legner
Teaching German Language and Literature: Prof. Dr. Anita Schilcher

For transfer towards the elective in the B.A., please contact any of the above mentioned or the academic program coordinator.

For any other transfer, please contact the Head of Department (via the academic program coordinator).

Please bring the signed form to your program’s exam office. Your credit points will then be transferred into FlexNow.

If you want to transfer credit points from a study abroad program, you need to make a “learning agreement” with the person responsible for each program. For more information, please contact the International Office.
