As part of the “Türen auf mit der Maus!” program, we welcomed children to the Department of Physics and gave them a glimpse into the everyday life of scientists. After an engaging presentation by our PhD student Maike Schöttler, featuring numerous hands-on experiments, the children explored optics at two experiment stations prepared by our group. The day concluded with a tour of our microscopy labs, where they could see the equipment and workplaces of scientists up close.
