Early studies
A programme for high-achieving and motivated pupils
Since the 2007/08 winter semester, the University of Regensburg has opened its doors to upper-secondary school pupils as part of the so-called ‘early study’ programme.
The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy also participates in the ‘Early Study’ programme and offers introductory lectures from the Bachelor’s degree programme in Chemistry for early-entry students. These are not separate courses; instead, the pupils attend regular lectures and seminars and sit the same examinations as their fellow students.
Upon successful completion of the examinations, early-entry students receive a corresponding certificate, which allows for the recognition of their academic achievements towards a possible future degree in Chemistry.
