Charging points for electric vehicles

For electric cars, there are a total of twelve parking spaces with charging points in the Am BioPark car parks in the south-east of the campus, and 15 spaces in the underground car park. There are a further six charging points for electric vehicles in the car park north-west of the Vielberth Building.

The charging points are operated by REWAG and can be used with a REWAG charging card or a charging card from one of REWAG’s partner organisations. A list of partner providers can be found on the REWAG website: https://www.rewag.de/e-mobilitaet/oekostrom-tanken/ladestationen-tarife. (external link, opens in a new window)

Towed vehicles

Anyone who parks their vehicle in a restricted area or in a disabled parking space on campus without a valid permit must expect their car to be towed away at their own expense. These cars are taken to the alternative car park near building CH 32 (Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy). The car park can be accessed via the road ‘Am BioPark’ (formerly Josef-Engert-Straße). To reclaim a towed car, please call the towing service on 0172 8128601. There you will be given a combination for the combination lock, which you can use to release your car. The point of contact for processing towing invoices is the V/6 Administration Department – Estate Services (external link, opens in a new window).
