Curriculum Vitae
Thomas Martinec studied German, English and Philosophy in Mainz and New York (NYU). He received his PhD in Mainz and his higher doctorate (Habilitation) in Regensburg. Dr Martinec was Montgomery-DAAD-Fellow at Lincoln College (Oxford University) and Lecturer at Durham University, before he became Professor at Regensburg University. He is the Vice President of the Lessing Society (external link, opens in a new window), co-editor of the Lessing Yearbook and co-organizer of the international Lessing Workshop.
