Giving opportunities, strengthening the future, experiencing community
The Deutschlandstipendium is a successful alliance of commitment to civil society and state funding - an alliance that is always a reason for the University of Regensburg to celebrate. The awarding of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarships is a moment in which we honour the commitment and ability of our future generation. The award ceremony is therefore held every summer on campus, to which the university invites sponsors, scholarship holders and their families to a joint celebration.
In July 2025, a total of 75 scholarship holders from ten nations and 38 different degree programmes at UR were selected for the income-independent funding. Many sponsors have been supporting the Deutschlandstipendium for years, and three new sponsors were acquired in 2025.
