News: Physics goes Downtown

24 October 2025, by Klaus Ziereis

Three professors from the Regensburg Centre for Ultrafast Nanoscopy (external link, opens in a new window) took part in "Physics goes Downtown", an inspiring public science event that took place on a Friday evening at the Degginger in Regensburg. The event was preceded by a week of exciting experiments for pupils. The evening aimed to make physics, chemistry and biology accessible outside the academic world, with professors giving insights into their research and illustrating how science helps us to understand some of the complex relationships in nature.
