Antonia Krinninger is studying for a Master's degree in area studies: romance cultures with French and Catalan. She specialises in French literary studies. She has been a student assistant at the chair since April 2025.
She completed her Bachelor's degree at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, specialising in FrancoMedia (French language, literature and media culture) with a Minor Subject in art history. The topic of her bachelor's thesis was "The motif of metamorphosis in L'Ingénu by Voltaire" (1.0). As part of her studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Université Rennes 2 and two semesters in the cultural editorial department of arte in Strasbourg.
Since January 2025, she has been a scholarship holder at the Institut für Publizistik in Munich, where she is completing a journalism programme alongside her studies.
