Theatre groups at the University of Regensburg
Playing along - making theatre during your studies
At the University of Regensburg, it is possible to study medicine and be involved in one of our many student theatre groups. At the moment, we have around 20 active student and course-related theatre groups.
This offers students who perform or want to perform theatre a range from post-dramatic to political theatre - and therefore something for everyone.
And the language of theatre is not limited to German: In addition to a pantomime group and various dance groups, there are also groups that perform in English or Russian.
In short: there is a place for everyone in this programme, whether on, in front of or behind the stage.
The "Theatre at the University" is a very well-equipped theatre stage on which the plays developed can be presented to the public in a professional setting with the support and funding of the Studentenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz (external link, opens in a new window).
