Sustainability also plays a central role in research at the University of Regensburg (UR). The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the ecological, economic, and social challenges of our time and to develop strategies for the necessary processes of societal transformation. In doing so, UR increasingly relies on inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration to bring together diverse scientific perspectives.
