Why study the EEC master: This programme is designed for students who wish to specialise in organismal biology with a focus on conservation, experimental and field ecology, and evolution (see more on target audience). The program has a dual focus on research and applied work, and therefore you will be able to qualify both for consecutive PhDs in these fields, as well as for work in the state administration or NGOs working in the field of ecology/conservation (see more on the structure of the program).
Who will be your instructors? The programme is mainly organised by the following working groups:
- AG Oberprieler - Plant Evolution
- AG Pokorny - Chemical Ecology
- AG Reisch - Genetics of Nature Conversation
- AG Hartig - Theoretical Ecology and Ecological Data Science
- AG Knop - Biodiversity, Species Interactions, Ecosystem Functioning
- AG Kurze - Behavioural & Evolutionary Ecology
- AG Schultner - Ecology, Evolution, Development
- AG Wilfert - Evolutionary Ecology
- AG Pichler - Ecological Machine Learning
- AG N.N. - Functional Animal Ecology
- AG N.N. - Plant Ecology
