Aims and content
The BAIKS project, part of the Bavarian Digital Network, aims (external link, opens in a new window)to develop AI assistants to support university service departments in handling support enquiries. Nuremberg Tech is responsible for the technical implementation and coordination, whilst partner universities define specific use cases, provide training data and evaluate the AI assistants developed.
For the University of Regensburg, participation offers a low-risk introduction to the use of AI in Administration, as well as the opportunity to build up its own expertise and networks. In Regensburg, the focus is on developing an information system for staff, initially with an emphasis on HR matters. Overall, the project aims to improve the quality of internal information and, in the long term, facilitate the establishment of AI solutions at the University of Regensburg.
