Aims and content
The University of Regensburg provides its teaching staff with the plagiarism detection software ‘Similarity’ and the AI detection software ‘Originality’ from the provider Turnitin under a campus licence.
The software modules are used to check texts for possible plagiarism and to identify indications of AI-generated content. This makes examination and assessment processes more transparent and traceable by providing structured similarity reports and highlighting any potential anomalies.
Training courses on how to use the software are available via the GRIPS learning platform.
