Zur Forschung
I am a linguist interested in typology, especially based on real-world corpus data. I am actively engaged in the creation of tools and resources for cross-linguistic comparison of spoken language data.
In the winter term 2025/2026 and summer term 2026, I am acting as Interim Professor at the University of Regensburg. Previously, I was leader of the research project AIRAL (2022-2025, funded by DFG) at ZAS Berlin (externer Link, öffnet neues Fenster).
I am editor of DoReCo (externer Link, öffnet neues Fenster), a corpus with time-aligned data from 53 endangered and low-resource languages.
I received my PhD from the University of Leipzig, with a thesis on the interaction of reduplication and mutation.
