Jesús Eleazar García Muñoz is a doctoral researcher at the University of Granada, Spain. He holds degrees in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Granada, in Russian philology from the Udmurt State University (Russian Federation), and in Literary Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has conducted research on queer topics in Russian-language literature, and imagology applied to Spanish travel-writing from the XIX and XX centuries.
He has worked in projects funded by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the European Solidarity Corps and the Spanish Ministry of Universities. Currently, he works on his doctoral dissertation on Russian-language literature from a queer, feminist, and transhistorical perspective. He has also published original poems and translations from Russian in several literary journals.
