Recognition of the admission thesis in the course of a doctoral project for the Dr. rer. nat. degree (only LA GY)
In the case of recognition in the course of a doctoral project in RIGeL, the supervisor of the doctoral project must certify the equivalence of the admission thesis with a Master's or Diplom thesis. As a rule, equivalence is deemed to exist if at least six months were planned for working on the topic of the admission thesis (§ 25, para. 8 of the Regulations for the Acquisition of the Academic Degree of Doctor of Natural Sciences at the University of Regensburg). In order for the equivalence to be certified at a later date, the supervisor of the admission thesis must issue a certificate of the duration of the admission thesis. (informal letter)
