If an admission thesis is recognised as a Bachelor's or Master's thesis in the course of an additional acquisition of a Bachelor's or Master's degree, the provisions of the relevant examination regulations apply (Examination Regulations Biology: e.g. § 7 Assessment of Examination Achievements; § 20 and 21 Bachelor's Thesis; § 29 and 30 Master's Thesis).
Further information on the additional acquisition of the BSc / MSc Biology can be found here!

Recognition of the admission thesis in the course of a doctoral project for the Dr. rer. nat. degree (only LA GY)

In the case of recognition in the course of a doctoral project in RIGeL, the supervisor of the doctoral project must certify the equivalence of the admission thesis with a Master's or Diplom thesis. As a rule, equivalence is deemed to exist if at least six months were planned for working on the topic of the admission thesis (§ 25, para. 8 of the Regulations for the Acquisition of the Academic Degree of Doctor of Natural Sciences at the University of Regensburg). In order for the equivalence to be certified at a later date, the supervisor of the admission thesis must issue a certificate of the duration of the admission thesis. (informal letter)
