The first teacher training examination consists of the first state examination ("Staatsexamen") and the module examinations to be taken during the course of study (the examinations taken in the courses at the university). The grade of the first teacher training examination is made up of the grades of the "state examination" (60 per cent) and the grades of the module examinations (40 per cent).

The LPO I (external link, opens in a new window) is a decree of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs. It contains provisions for the first state examination ("Staatsexamen") applicable to all Bavarian universities and regulations for the study programme and examination content for the various teaching degrees for all subjects.
University examination regulations
The university examination regulations govern the implementation of the module examinations and thus the university part of the first teaching degree examination for trainee teachers of the teaching degrees offered at the University of Regensburg.
The current version of the examination regulations at the time of the start of studies applies throughout the entire degree programme.
