Elementary analysis is used for structure determination and to check the purity of newly synthesised compounds and covers the elements carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and sulphur.
To ensure good results, the samples must be completely dry and homogeneous.
A duplicate analysis is always carried out, so please submit approximately 3–4 mg of the substance. Any remaining substance will be returned.
Samples may be submitted as solids or liquids in suitable containers (e.g. Eppendorf cups).
Please label the containers with your name and the name of the substance.
If required, the elements chlorine, bromine and iodine can also be analysed (halogen analysis is currently not possible).
Results must be collected in person.
