Admission to a PhD programme

To be admitted to a PhD programme, please follow these steps:

Please ensure that you have all the mandatory documents:

• completely
• correctly and fully completed
• with original signatures

The mandatory documents are:

1. Application for admission to doctoral studies
2. five copies of the doctoral thesis (all signed by you) – one copy remains with the faculty administration; you may forward the remaining four copies yourself to the examination board you have appointed once you have submitted the documents
3. Information on any previous criminal convictions
4. up-to-date CV
5. Affidavit.

If you are a member of the ‘ChemPharm’ Graduate School, you must have your academic transcript to hand when submitting your application.

In the case of conditions, a doctoral examination or agreements pursuant to Section 6(6), you must enclose proof of having passed the examination with your application.

Once the correct and complete documents have been submitted and signed by the chair of the PromKom, you will receive the letter of admission to the doctoral programme from the faculty administration by e-mail. At the same time, the examiners will be asked by e-mail to prepare an assessment report.

To be admitted to a cotutelle PhD programme, please follow these steps:

Please ensure that you have all the mandatory documents:

• completely
• correctly and fully completed
• with original signatures

1. Application for admission to the joint doctoral programme
2. one copy of the dissertation (signed by you) – you may forward the remaining copies yourself to the examination board you have appointed
3. Information on any previous criminal convictions
4. up-to-date CV
5. Affidavit.

If you are a member of the ‘ChemPharm’ Graduate School, you must have your academic transcript to hand when submitting your application.
