What subject-specific knowledge do teachers need?
What role does this play in the organisation of high-quality subject teaching?
What significance does it have for the subject-related learning success of pupils?

These questions are not only virulently discussed in empirical educational research on the professional knowledge of teachers and the quality of teaching, but are also addressed by the interdisciplinary junior research group FALKO-PV (subject-specific teacher competences- predictive validation) in the six subjects German, English, Protestant Religion, Latin, Mathematics and Music.

The junior research group FALKO-PV is funded for five years (2021-2026) by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) under the funding code 01JG2103. The responsibility for the content of the following websites lies with the research group.
