Teaching
Regine Strätling has taught around fifty comparative, Romance, German language and literature and interdisciplinary courses at BA, MA and doctoral level. The teaching formats included tutorials, seminars, advanced seminars, plenary sessions and workshops. She specialises in literary history and literary theory since the 18th century as well as the relationship of literature to other art media and forms of knowledge.
She taught at Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin until 2015, at the Institute of German Language and Literature, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 2015 to 2022, at Université de Montréal (Études allemandes and Centre canadien d'études allemandes et européennes) since 2022 and at the University of Regensburg since the winter semester of 2024.
She has also taught as a short-term guest lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and the University of St Andrews.
