Certificate of Attendance and Examination for ERASMUS Students

ERASMUS students may register to obtain a certificate of attendance and examination for one or more of Professor Heese’s lectures.

1. Requirements

The requirements for the certificate to be issued are:

  • timely registration with the department using the form (below)
  • regular attendance at the relevant course and
  • passing an oral examination at the end of the semester.

2. Registration

The registration period is the first two weeks of the current lecture term. Students who have not registered during this period may neither sit the examination nor receive a certificate.

3. Regular attendance

Regular attendance at the lectures is recorded by Professor Heese. ERASMUS students must approach Professor Heese of their own accord immediately after each lecture. A student is deemed to have attended regularly if they have missed no more than two lecture sessions without a valid reason (e.g. illness). Proof of the reason must be provided on request (e.g. by means of a medical certificate).

4. Oral examination

The oral examination takes place during the last two weeks of the semester. The exact date will be announced in good time during the lecture and under ‘News’ or ‘ERASMUS’.

5. Certificates

You will not receive your certificates from the department; they can only be collected from the International Office at the University of Regensburg (https://www.uni-regensburg.de/international/kontakt (external link, opens in a new window)).

6. Any questions?

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the department’s secretariat.
