Information on examinations
All the course modules and examinations specified in the module catalogue must be completed. Students must register for each course module and examination independently via FlexNow.
In the event of failing a module examination, the resit must, in accordance with Section 25(1) of the PSO, generally be taken within 6 months, but no later than the following semester. Registration for this must again be carried out independently via FlexNow. A second retake is permitted only once during the entire course of study. Coursework that has not been passed, on the other hand, may be retaken multiple times; however, independent registration is also required for this.
Please take the registration and resit deadlines very seriously!
Please bear in mind that, as part of your interdisciplinary LL.B. programme, you will be studying with lecturers from different faculties, each with their own academic traditions. This presents particular challenges. You must not assume that the practices of one department will be accepted by another. You must therefore always check which rules apply to the specific course. This applies in particular to matters of registration and, where applicable, retaking examinations. Ultimately, the provisions of your LL.B. Examination and Study Regulations are decisive.
