Public Law, either as a second major or a minor, is the perfect complement to your Bachelor’s degree within the combined Bachelor’s programme (B.A.)!
Available as a major or minor subject
The second major subject and the minor in Public Law contribute to academic competence by supplementing the methods acquired in the Bachelor’s programme with the study of legal methodologies and specific knowledge of public law.
In this way, students broaden their range of methodologies. They learn to work at the interface between their Bachelor’s subject and public law and to engage in professional dialogue with legal practitioners.
The second major enables students to independently assess legal issues using legal methods.
In the minor subject, the focus is on understanding legal reasoning.
By encouraging students, in their second major or minor subject, to reflect on the methods and insights of their Bachelor’s subject from a legal perspective, the programme also contributes to their personal development.
