The recording studio
The CTL team will support you throughout the recording and editing process, so no technical expertise is required. Once completed, your recordings can be published in the University of Regensburg’s media library, on GRIPS or on other platforms.
What we offer
Lightboard recording
A talk supported by a blackboard, whiteboard or flip chart can be recorded on video using the lightboard. The lightboard is a 140 cm x 80 cm glass panel standing in front of you, which lets you build up your notes step by step as you speak.

Classic studio recording
A talk given without additional digital media can be recorded in the video studio, showing the speaker against a neutral background. A teleprompter makes presenting easier. Real objects that are explained during the talk can also be filmed, and graphic elements (e.g. the University of Regensburg logo) can be included.
Green screen recording
The green screen lets you combine a recording of the speaker with any screen content you choose (PowerPoint presentation, graphics, animation, film). The green screen studio supports a wide variety of recording scenarios, so there is plenty of scope for your creativity. Typical uses include an integrated recording of speaker and presentation slides, adding a sign language interpreter to a teaching video, or filming a live scene in front of any (fictional) background. You can use the teleprompter to read your script or speaker notes.
Voice-over booth
Our voice-over booth lets you make high-quality audio recordings. Use it to produce podcasts for your teaching, or to add high-quality audio commentary to slides or Explain Everything recordings.
Mobile recording studio
Would you like to record outside the studio (e.g. for interviews, sound bites or field recording)?
We are happy to support you here as well. We keep a comprehensive range of equipment for video and audio recordings outside the studio (lighting, microphones, cameras, audio recorders, tripods and more).
