Profile

How long have you been working at the CUAT? What do you particularly like about your job?

I’ve been working at the CUAT (with a few breaks) since 2004. What I particularly like about my work are the varied challenges and diverse topics. I also really appreciate the freedom to try out new or unusual things from time to time. And, of course, working with brilliant colleagues.

What are your interests or main areas of research?

My main research areas are evaluation and digital teaching. It’s hard to narrow down my other interests – I get excited (too) quickly about lots of things to do with teaching and learning at university.

What are the three words your colleagues would use to describe you?

inspiring, creative, trend-spotter

If you were to win the lottery tomorrow, what three things would you buy first?

A flat in London, a house in Ibiza and a new swimsuit, so I look the part there too...

If you could learn a new language overnight, which one would it be and why?

Spanish, of course, so I can chat to my new neighbours.

What was the best concert or festival you’ve ever been to?

Even after more than 30 years, I’m still deeply impressed by a Lenny Kravitz concert I went to in the early 90s.
