How long have you been working at the CUAT? What do you particularly like about your job?

I’ve been working at the CUAT since September 2021. I particularly appreciate the insights I gain into the various departments. It’s fascinating to see the wide variety of approaches taken to teaching design. This also provides new inspiration for my own work. What’s more, the interaction with colleagues enriches my day-to-day work.

What were your most embarrassing fashion faux pas?

Back in the 90s, I had a pair of tie-dyed flared jeans.

What do you most enjoy doing in your spare time, and what exactly is it about it that you love so much?

I really enjoy getting out into nature and going on trips in the area around Regensburg. There are plenty of options, from the Altmühl Valley to the Upper Palatinate Forest. It helps me clear my head and I’m always discovering new things.

Which YouTube channels are you subscribed to?

A bit of everything in music, entertainment and culture, so here’s a selection: Electro Swing Thing, deichkindTV, the Pierre M. Krause channel, Joseph DeChangeman, and anything to do with art and culture.

If you could get rid of one annoying habit straight away, which one would it be?

The Bavarian subjunctive.
