About me

Profile

How long have you been working at the CUAT? What do you particularly like about your job?

I’ve been working at the CUAT since April 2007. What I particularly like is that, through courses, exchanges and consultations, you gain an insight into teaching practice across almost all of the university’s departments.

What are your interests and main areas of research?

I’m interested in everything to do with teaching practice, particularly how to make teaching sustainable and how to boost students’ motivation. Another focus is the training and deployment of tutors and mentors.

What are the three words your colleagues would use to describe you?

communicative, humorous, empathetic

What do you most enjoy doing in your spare time, and what exactly is it about it that you find so inspiring?

Music, both playing and listening to it: “Without music, life would be a mistake” (F. W. Nietzsche)

If you could learn a new language overnight, which one would it be and why?

Italian: the cadence of that language conveys a whole way of life!

If you could get rid of one annoying habit straight away, which one would it be?

‘Anything that crunches’: I’m just saying – chocolate, biscuits, etc.
