Anniversary celebration “10 Years of BTHA” and 5th Bavarian-Czech University Forum
The Bavarian-Czech Academic Agency cordially invites to the “10 Years of BTHA” anniversary celebration on June 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., and to the 5th Bavarian-Czech University Forum on June 11–12, 2026, at the University of Regensburg.
The following will be presented:
- A wide range of Bavarian-Czech academic collaborations
- Student field trips and study visits to the neighboring country
- Examples of Bavarian and Czech university projects for Ukraine.
Further information:
- Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
- Participation in the entire program is free of charge.
- A limited number of overnight accommodations will be provided, but travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.

Study visits in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe 2026
Scholarship programs offered by partner countries of the Free State of Bavaria:
- Croatia
- Serbia
- Slovakia
- Czechia

Students and young scientists who are enrolled or conducting research at a state university or a church-run university in Bavaria are eligible to apply.

Target group
Students:
- on Bachelor´s level of all disciplines, including Law;
- interested in understanding human rights as a complex, interdisciplinary field relevant to academia, policy, and society;
- with B2 or more English language proficiency.

B A Y H O S T Mobility grants for research stays in 2026
Advanced students and early-stage researchers from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe or Bavaria have the possibility to apply in cooperation with an academic supervisor from a Bavarian university for mobility grants for a research stay in Bavaria or Eastern Europe (travel expenses/allowance, accommodation expenses).
The program’s focus in 2026 is put on the region / countries: Western Balkan countries and Ukraine.
Maximum funding amount: 1.000 Euro

B A Y H O S T Mobility Grants for Internships 2026
BAYHOST offers to students of Bavarian universities the possibility to apply for flexible internship grants in order to facilitate internships and gain experience in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
