EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships

MBO Postdoctoral Fellowships: Supporting internationally mobile postdoctoral researchers in Europe and around the world. (external link, opens in a new window)No deadline, submissions are possible in the spring evaluation (~ January) and autumn evaluation (~ July). 

ERC - European Research Council

Work Programme - Changes in eligibility (PhD reference date) for  Starting Grants (external link, opens in a new window) and Consolidator Grants (external link, opens in a new window). Applications can be made in any field of research. The ERC's grants operate on a 'bottom-up' basis without predetermined priorities.

Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS)

Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS)

The Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) Fellowships support training and facilitate international collaboration by providing stipends to early-career researchers for a research visit to a host lab in a different country in the FEBS area. Applications may be made at any time. You can apply now for the Ukrainian Short-term Fellowships (external link, opens in a new window) and for the general Short-Term Fellowships (external link, opens in a new window) awarded for the purpose of scientific collaboration, advanced training or employing techniques not available at the candidate’s usual place of work.

GFPS - Gemeinschaft für studentischen Austausch in Mittel- und Osteuropa

Every semester, the Association for Student Exchange in Central and Eastern Europe (GFPS) awards scholarships for semesters abroad (external link, opens in a new window) in the Czech Republic and Poland, an intensive language course in Poland,  as well as internships in the Czech Republic. In return, various scholarships are offered for study in Germany as well.

Travel Grants for brokerage events to support participation of applicants from Widening (external link, opens in a new window) countries to Pillar II clusters, European partnerships and Missions brokerage events organised on-site. Up tp 1,000 EUR for travel and accomodation can be awarded.
