Study and Research in Bavaria

With its universities, universities of applied sciences, art and music academies, Bavaria offers a wide range of modern and innovative study programs. In the 2024/2025 winter semester alone, a total of 3,086 degree programs were offered, including 1,200 bachelor's degrees, 1,282 master's degrees, and 571 state and church degrees (source (external link, opens in a new window)). 

As a central point of contact for students, researchers and universities in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, BAYHOST promotes academic exchange and supports student mobility between Bavarian universities and higher education institutions (HEIs) in these regions.
