Digital Teaching Day 2027
The next Digital Teaching Day is expected to take place in September 2027. It will be hosted by OTH Regensburg.
Review: Digital Teaching Day 2026
Under the theme ‘Digital Teaching: Between Aspiration and Reality’, the University of Regensburg and OTH Regensburg hosted an event to discuss the opportunities and challenges of digital higher education. Around 120 lecturers from across Bavaria accepted the invitation.
The event centred on the keynote address by Prof. Dr Mandy Schiefner-Rohs. She looked back at earlier promises surrounding the digitalisation of teaching whilst also highlighting the challenges currently facing higher education institutions.
Lecturers illustrated how digital teaching can be successful in practice using selected examples of good practice. In various workshops, participants also had the opportunity to share their own experiences, learn about new approaches and exchange ideas with colleagues from across different universities.
10 Years of Digital Teaching Day
In 2026, Digital Teaching Day took place for the 10th time. As befits an anniversary event, a look back was a must: what topics have we been focusing on over the past few years? And how have the key areas of focus changed over time?
Many thanks to Daniel Al-Kabbani (external link, opens in a new window), who presented a satirical take on the developments of recent years.
