Carina Ehrnsperger is a postdoctoral researcher at the Professorship for Dynamics of Virtual Communication Spaces. In her doctoral thesis, she investigated the cultural and media-related resilience functions of French and British camp newspapers of World War I. Her current work advances this line of inquiry by addressing contemporary entanglements of media, gender, and health. As part of the interdisciplinary project “Women’s Health”, funded by the Professorinnenprogramm 2030, she is particularly interested in how gendered dimensions of health are constructed and conveyed in the media.
