Regensburg - World Heritage Site

In 2006, Regensburg was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage City and boasts a lively 2,000-year old history.

Nevertheless, Regensburg is a young city - every fifth resident of Regensburg is a student. And this is also reflected in the cityscape: bars, pubs and restaurants make the old town a place of lively togetherness. Cultural events such as music festivals or theater days complement the leisure activities and make Regensburg a truly livable city.
