ERASMUS Short-term Mobility for PhD-Students
PhD students may also come to Regensburg within the ERASMUS program as long as PhD-mobility has been included in the bilateral agreement between the University of Regensburg and the partner institution.
If PhD-mobility has been included, PhD-students may also come for a short-term mobility between 5-30 days.
Necessary Steps:
1) PhD candidates need to check whether there is an ERASMUS agreement in place in the field they would like to do their research in.
2) It is necessary to find an academic advisor here in Regensburg to host the short-term mobility. The International Office can help to find such a possible advisor. Please contact: Ms Christine Betzner, international.exchange-student(at)ur.de (opens your email program)
Accommodation:
Short-term mobilties cannot be accommodated in student residences. The Welcome Center of the International Office provides advice in these cases for accommodation.
Using the Library and University Canteen:
Visitors receive a guest card for the canteen and cafeterias. The academic advisors will assist to receive access to the university library as well as to all necessary research facilities.
ERASMUS Formalities:
The ERASMUS Institutional Coordinator, Ms Grotz, will sign the letter of aceptance as well as the confirmation of stay.
