UR Strategic Partnership Seed Fund

In the interest of a continued development of the partnership, activities that are characterized by the following criteria are particularly eligible for funding:

• Sustainability and intensification of cooperation with the SPU ('catalytic effect')
• Profile development of the UR with regard to the four organisational fields of the UR ('Gestaltungsfelder')
• Interdisciplinary networking
• Diversity of the addressed university fields of action and stakeholders

Possible cooperation formats are, e.g. in the areas of

• Research: Research mobility, visits in preparation for research collaborations, organization of / participation in workshops/conferences, science outreach projects
• Teaching: Teaching mobility (e.g. if no Erasmus+ funding possible), visits in preparation for teaching collaborations (i.e. without teaching on site)
• Administration: Participation in / organization of staff training, job shadowing etc.
• Campus culture networking activities, joint projects and events of student representatives and accredited organizations, as well as of cultural/sports groups

The Seed Fund can provide support for

• Incoming mobility to the UR: 
  Lump sum of 180 EUR/day covering the costs of guests from a SPU (for up to 14 days).
• Outgoing mobility to the SPU:
  (Partial) reimbursement of travel expenses (2nd class / economy class).
• In extraordinary cases and subject to the availability of funds, the coverage or subsidy of other costs (e.g. for catering, city tours, etc.) for events at the UR may be considered. This requires a special explanation and financial planning to be included with the application. 
  No funds can be made available for salaries, publication/conference costs, etc.
