What sustainability projects are there at UR?

Here you will find an overview of the current sustainability projects at UR and, specifically, at the International Office.

Sustainability Projects of the International Office:

Mini Flea Market for Everyday and Kitchen Items for new International Students

Takes place at the start of each semester! New students can pick up well-maintained, used household and kitchen items for free at the International Office. 

Always towards the end of a semester: Collecting donations from graduated students, departing exchange students and staff of well-maintained, used household and kitchen items for new international students.

Current Sustainability Projects at UR:

  • Our Green Office at UR 

    responsible for:

    • Connecting initiatives in the field of sustainability (e.g. task forces, student organizations)
    • Supporting (student) projects in implementing their projects
    • Organizing activities and events (e.g. campus clean-up, sustainability week)
    • Serving as a point of contact for a sustainable and healthy campus (e.g., water dispensers, biodiversity)

  • Clothing Swap Organized by the Student Services Association  (external link, opens in a new window)

    The Student Services Organization hosts a clothing swap every semester. Dates and locations will be announced in advance on the IO’s Instagram channel.
