The type of financing will affect visa, residence permit and health insurance you receive. Research stays are in general be financed through: 

  • Work Contract
  • Scholarship
  • Self-Financed

 Please make sure that you have sufficient health insurance for your entire stay.

International guest researchers can be integrated into the German social security system through their workcontract at the University of Regensburg.
