Startklar - Orientation

Who will help me in the first days in Regensburg?

The program is free of charge and is aimed at all international students who are starting their German course or degree studies at UR.

You will receive help with all the formalities that need to be taken care of and an introduction for the self-organization of your semester courses. Guided tours at the university and in the city will also help you with your orientation at the beginning of your studies.


    

Online course: starting March 1st

          On-campus attendance week: April 8 - 12

       Registration: starting March 1st for the online course

Registration

Registration for the course is automatic, after self-enrollment in the Startklar course on GRIPS.

For registration you will need:

♦ your student account (also called NDS or RZ account).This account will be given to you after you handed in all the documents for online enrollment.

♦ in the case you have not yet finished enrollment, you can access the course in the first weeks via a guest account for non-enrolled students.

Schedule

The orientation program "Startklar" will take place online via the e-learning platform GRIPS. The content of the GRIPS course is offered in German and in English.

Various in-person events will be held the week before classes begin: Worshops, get-to-know-you meetings, tours and more.

Admitted applicants for the study-preparatory German courses can take a placement test to update their language level before enrolling.
