- Wichtige Informationen: I want to combine empirical fieldwork with modelling approaches to understand and protect biodiversity in the face of global change.
About me
I am a biologist, specialised in ecology, evolution and conservation. Currently, I am working as a research assistant at the Theoretical Ecology group, University of Regensburg. There, I am co-developing the R package DHARMa for Residual Diagnostics for Hierarchical (Multi-Level / Mixed) Regression Models.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in ecology, specifically plant-pollinator interactions and biodiversity conservation. My master thesis investigated the impact of climate change and land use change on the vegetation of dry grasslands and epigenetic variation of Salvia pratensis. Moving forward, I want to combine empirical fieldwork with modelling approaches to understand and protect biodiversity in the face of global change. Co-developing the R package DHARMa, I am interested in helping to provide a flexible framework for residual diagnostics that makes statistical modelling more accessible to ecologists and beyond.
