Introductory session for first-year students at the Faculty
The Biology and Biochemistry Students’ Association organises an introductory session before the start of the winter semester, at which first-year students from outside the University of Regensburg can obtain useful information.

The International Office at the University of Regensburg offers an orientation programme called ‘Startklar’ for international students before the start of the semester. Choice of subjects and modules
Before you start your degree, please choose your modules (specialisations) and draw up your own timetable. You can use the sample timetables for this.

If you need help choosing your subjects or modules, you can contact the module coordinators. They can also help you find a research group for your laboratory practical.
Please note! Places on some specialisation or minor subjects may be limited. Admission to the Master’s programme does not guarantee a place on your preferred subjects. Please check whether a place is available on your chosen subject before applying. Please contact the relevant module coordinator well in advance of the start of your studies.
Before you start the lectures and seminars in your chosen subject, please ensure that you have secured a place on the practical course in that subject!!!
