Calculation of the overall mark (Study Regulations; Section 27, paragraph 2, sentence 1)
The overall mark is calculated from the marks of the module examinations in the three specialisations or the two specialisations and the minor subject, weighted according to credit points, as well as the mark of the Master’s thesis, weighted according to credit points. If more specialisations or minor subjects are successfully completed than are required, the specialisations or minor subject with the higher average mark from the theory and practical modules will be used to calculate the overall mark. If, within a
specialisation or a minor subject, more than one theoretical module or more than one practical module are completed, the theoretical or practical module with the higher mark shall be used to calculate the overall mark.
