Description of the
Impulsvorträge mit anschließender Diskussion im Rahmen des Regensburger Jahresthema „Stadt und Glaube“
Media transport knowledge, but its fundamental credibility has been questionable not only since the digital revolution. Our everyday lives and our knowledge have always been closely linked to the media, but this always raises the question of their credibility.
Why is a letter more credible than an e-mail? Are photographs of a city images of reality? And what is the connection between city life and cinema? How do the media determine our perception of the universe, what kind of testimony can the media take on and how are everyday topics portrayed in "Tatort"? The keynote speeches start at these interfaces and take a look at the connections between media, the city and faith.
